New Mexico State University Selects AssetWorks Enterprise Asset Management Software

(Wayne, PA - January 22, 2009) AssetWorks, a leading provider of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software solutions, announced today that New Mexico State University selected the firm's facility management system to manage its physical assets, capital projects, utilities, and maintenance operations.

A comprehensive land-grant institution of higher learning, New Mexico State University was founded in 1888 as an agricultural college and preparatory school. Dedicated to teaching, research, and service at the undergraduate and graduate levels, NMSU is a NASA Space Grant College, a Hispanic-serving institution and is home to the only Honors College in New Mexico. The University's main campus sits on 900 acres and enrolls students from all 50 states and from 71 nations.

NMSU chose AssetWorks to improve efficiency, standardize processes, and reduce costs associated with maintenance and operations. Software modules for Utilities, Key Control, Motor Pool, Capital Projects, and Space Management will be implemented in order to leverage shared information across several departments. The modular nature of the AssetWorks system makes it possible to add new functionality to suit individual workflow requirements.

"AssetWorks' unique line of software products provides outstanding functionality for North America's institutions of Higher Education. Our commitment to the success of each EAM system we implement is paramount," declared Ken Slaughter, Senior Vice President, AssetWorks. "We are pleased to be part of a solution that means greater efficiencies and savings for all of the colleges and universities we serve."
